Summer Cheer Program
July 15th- August 23rd
Welcome to Cheer!
is the perfect introduction to all aspects of cheerleading. This class focuses on building the basic, fundamental skills of cheerleading for both game day and competition cheering. Cheerleaders will learn jumps, stunting and tumbling with an emphasis on proper technique and safety. Game day cheers, dance and team-building activities help to build confidence, cooperation and communication skills while having fun.

3:00-3:55 Ages 5-7
4:10-5:05 Ages 8-11

Intermediate Cheer!
develops intermediate skills for game day and competition cheering. Cheerleaders in Cheer 2 must have mastered the basic skills of Cheer 1 or have previous cheerleading experience. This class builds upon basic skills and challenges the cheerleader with increasing difficulty. Cheerleaders will learn combination jumps, handsprings, and transitional stunting with an emphasis on proper technique and safety. Conditioning is introduced for building strength, flexibility and stamina. Cheerleaders develop performance skills through game day cheers and dance. This class is perfect for the cheerleader pursuing competition cheer.
*Evaluations by cheer instructors are necessary to be placed in Intermediate Cheer*

Open to cheerleaders entering ninth through twelfth grade in the 2025-2026 school year
